A tasty affair in a shopper’s paradise.

Calling Mumbai the economic capital of the country makes it sound like an “all work and no play” kind of city. I say, that this place with all the communities of the country thriving and celebrating their lives together is much more than it has been labelled as.

The city is bordered by the sea, where for miles and miles waves caresses the shore, where scores of skyscrapers kiss the clouds and art mingles with architecture to bring fantasies to reality. From European styled Hiranandani complexes to Victoria terminus station, the infrastructure across Mumbai is a sight to be appraised. With the street markets giving big brands a run for their money, the city is a shopper’s daydream. You can always punctuate your long shopping sprees with the omnipresent vada pav. Sink your teeth into the crisp buttery pav and take off a bite of the vada, the explosion of flavours in your mouth would be so intense that suddenly the world would shift into the slow motion gear……….

The local cuisine is all about this mushy emotion.

To unwind yourself go, hang around the marine drive, which lights up like a queen's necklace at night or sit  across the palm trees on a mat at juhu beach, watching the sun go down. Go wild at the Bhushi dam near Mumbai or drive upto lonavala for vacationing in the realm of nature. Better still be your own explorer, as the place has a lot to offer.

P.S: Ideal time to go hopping around Mumbai is monsoons, because that’s when hot sour and spicy corns taste best!! :D

Bon Voyage! :D
