Top Homemade Dishes...!!! :)

   1. “As you’ll see, creativity in the Mexican kitchen goes beyond culinary matters... and into the literary realm!”

Hola foodaholics, you all might have understood that the very first dish I am going to cover belongs to the Mexican cuisine which is CASADIA. Casadia is the most pliable dish which is adapted in numerous variation, mostly it is served as appetizers with its own twist. Few twists that surely upsurge your cravings are: black beans, chicken, spinach, tofu and zucchini.

It was really a boring day when I was just looking for something interesting and as always what comes to my mind is food :P and so I started scrounging for a Never Tried Cuisine and I found this. Truly guys I was afraid of trying this but at the end it turned to be futile and made my day. The quotation stated above is plainly true as I mutated the recipe completely. The basic ingredients I used were: tortilla, corn, cheese and salsa. It was so succulent that I couldn’t even resist for a minute and started gobbling it. Honestly it took quite long time to cook but it took just two minutes to finish it up, I and my siblings really felt bad ;)

.    2. “A brownie a day keep frownies away”

Presenting you the next dish- Brownie. It is originated from US and has become most loved dessert which can be served with ice-cream (tastes better when served with vanilla ice-cream), chocolate syrup. Depending on the density it can be fudgy or cakey it may include nuts, almonds, walnuts or chocolate chips.

Also it can be layered with choco lava (thick layer of cocoa powder and sugar mixed with some water). The one made by your blogger had almonds in it and was made palatable with hide and seek biscuits. Easy to cook dish it is!!!

  3.    Punjabi Kitchen at your place

Satsriakal ji, Bruaahhhh

Here comes the third dish DAL MAKHNI. Every day food it can be for punjabis. A perfect blend of various spices. The primary ingredients are: Black urad lentils with red kidney beans, butter, cream, bayleaf and Cinnamon. Tastes best with tandoor ki roti, pulao (rice) and of course with chilli garlic naan.

                                  Dal Makhni                                                   Veg Cheese Pulao

  4.    For all the cashew lovers: Kaju Korma

Kaju Korma is a dish which has thick gravy and tastes really good. It belongs to the Maharashtrian cuisine. Whenever you feel like having something special then try making kaju korma. Though my first try for this wasn’t good (garnishing) but tasted good. Cottage Cheese was like cherry on the cake. The basic ingredients are: Fried cashew, cheese, bayleaf, garlic and cream.

  5.    KUCH MITHA HO JAYE: SHRIKHAND

It is the main dessert of Maharashtrian and Gujrati cuisine. It is curd prepared with sugar and some other favouring agents with dry fruits, cardamom and saffron. It is thick and tastes delectable. I am sure you will ask for another after having one.

Such a hungry journey it was!!!
Keep gobbling and reading.
