A Pune district hill station of Maharashtra brings one an immense calm and chills by its eye-soothing and pleasing scenic beauty. Lonavala, derives from a combination of word Len meaning something carved out of stones and avail meaning a series implying Lonavala being a place being craved out of series of stone. Land to Pune grab your bags and catch a cab up to Lonavala at about 636kms. Lonavala being rich in nature provides tourist with various attractions. Karla caves deliver an eminent view to its visitors including the Bhushi Dam, Khandala about 3kms from Lonavala and various forts which enhance India’s royalty. Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir:

A district of Jammu and Kashmir famous for its adventurous tracks the tourists get attracted to. A chilling breeze covers the land up into its arm letting one experience the most happening. The redirected winds from Sindh turn up the atmosphere. A varied phase of climate can be seen in Kashmir every hundred feet, elevated. The Sindh Valley (Ganderbal) offers tourist a perfect picturesque. Other location of immense scenic beauty includes the Sonamarg (8kms from Ganderbal), offering a glamorous view of ice blocks across the peak. Some are the Rogan Josh, Rista, Kashmiri Haakh, Kong Phirni, Khubani ka halwa serving as main-course and desserts.

Daman and Diu, Daman and Diu:

Daman and Diu prior to 1961 was a Portuguese enclave and portraying well the Portugal’s customs and serving as a Portugal land within the Indian state. The land has shed blood in the quest of being a part of India winning and losing battles and life and thriving hard to gain success, yet embracing their hopes. The land despite of being battleground is said to be an ‘isle of calm’ for it’s been the most pacifying land among the Indian country. The pleasant climate of Diu and Daman unveils the beauty it withheld and amazes tourist with calms and chills of nature at beachside. Daman lies on the edges of Arabian Sea. Beaches at Daman and Diu are an integral part of the place. The place displays well the Portugal culture and the essence of royalty they held. The ethereal land visit shall definitely include visiting Nagoa beach, Jallandhar beach, Diu Fort, fortress of Panikota, the Shell Museum, Naida caves, Churches and a many more tourist attractions throbbing tourists soul.

And the explorers and the travellers, the state administration has planned for you a 75 day fiesta! The month of December’s gonna be fun at Diu. Join at the ‘Festa De Diu’, the longest beach festival. Exclaim in joy, throw your hands up in the air and groove on Indian beats! Experience the rich culture beginning from December 1st up to February 2016! Get high on your nerves, gulp like never before, bounce with music legends and enjoy!

The food delicacies offered by the place is starving me out of hunger... :P

A wide variety of Portuguese food serves best at the food joints in Diu. The place has a touch of Gujarati culture as well. Gujarati cuisine has influenced the state with Rotli and tea being regular meals. Rotla and saag serve as a lunch delight and Chokha along with Curry and saag as a dinner delight. And whilst being along seaside how can sea food be missed!

So plan it up for Gujarat and cab up to Daman and Diu at about 550kms or Land at Mumbai and drive up for about 170kms.

I am seriously in love with this place. :D *_*

Veerampattinam, Puducherry (Pondicherry):

The most admirable destination of your writer, Pondicherry that breathes blue shall be experienced while visiting India and especially in November for this destination brings the most amazing climatic experiences. The village of Veerampattinam exhales aqua for being surrounded by beaches. The place has witnessed colonial rules spreading from the Dutch to the French. The territory has the marks of colonialism imprinted onto its culture and heritage. It portrays the archaic vision well at the Arikamedu at about 2kms whilst Veerampattinam being 8kms from Puducherry. The Veerampattinam beach offers an unforgettable view from the isle. It holds an essence of spiritualism which’s spread around the place. The place celebrates its god during a car festival in which the deity is paraded into a temple car. This festival takes place in August every year and to witness the same you shall visit it then!  ‘Masi Magam’ festivity also delights the natives wherein all the deities are gathered in front of beach and the beach floods with people, spiritualistic.

The state offers a wide variety of food ranging from sea food to sizzlers to platters to non-vegetarian to veggies and lot more.

So get ready to set voyage for Pondicherry from Tamil Nadu at about 1000kms via the national waterways-4 or depart at Kaniyakumari and ride up to about 575kms or fly up to 485kms!

Cherrapunji brings to life the nature and gives a chilling and thrilling experience to explorers at nature’s end. Root bridges are a common part of the place so go and explore! Whilst being in the lap of nature at a place like Cherrapunji also visit the Cherrapunji Eco Park and the Thangkharang park of Cherrapunji. Being at Cherrapunji the nature would engulf you into its arm and you’ll be experiencing the most happening days of your life. *_*

Momos are a widely served delicacy in Cherrapunji. (We love it a lot!
